Management – each team, as part of its official party, will be expected to have a manager responsible for the overall involvement of the participating Club/team and to represent the Club at briefings, on technical matters and suchlike, plus one other Club official. (Please note that scorers, umpires etc. will all be available from within the local cricket community).

Tournament - A total of 16 matches will be played over the three days, approximately 8 plus hours each on two grounds over each day. Commencing matches promptly and on time is imperative so as to complete the daily programme. There is some time built in for wet weather.

Inclement weather - A wet weather programme will be in place for the tournament to ensure as much continuity as possible – details to follow.

Timekeeping - A 10 minute grace period for late arrivals may be permitted at the discretion of the Technical Committee.  After the time has lapsed, the team which is on the field ready to play will receive a walk-over (Bye) with 3 match points.

Apparel - Teams will be provided with coloured playing shirts  and trousers (2 sets for each playing member).

Equipment - In view of its generally personal nature, all other equipment (bats, pads, gloves etc) will be expected to be part of your participation in the event and which you will bring with you. Should any Club wish to avail itself of SCC equipment then please advise us well in advance of the tournament.

Tournament briefing - A team manager’s briefing will be held at the SCC clubhouse, Oval room on Thursday 20th August 2009 at 7.00pm.  Further clarifications of the Laws and other requirements can be broached with the Technical Committee at this meeting when the draw for the tournament will also be made. Each Team must ensure that their Manager or Captain attends the briefing (not more than two representatives per team may attend).

Indemnity - it is advised that all participating clubs have their own personal/team insurance. The Club, employees and the tournament officials accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury caused to participants, players or spectators during the duration of the tournament.

Meals during the tournament – lunches and refreshment (non-alcoholic) will be made available to all players and club officials at both grounds during the duration of the tournament. It is expected that there will be celebratory barbeque, incorporating a night match (junior challenge game) on the SCC Padang on Saturday August 22 to which all players and officials that are registered (maximum 17 people) will be invited. All other meals/refreshments will be for Clubs and individual accounts.
